Swisstainable Classifications

Through the Swisstainable classification system, Switzerland Tourism encourages businesses to implement sustainable practices like waste management, energy efficiency, community love, and taking care of nature like a boss.
The Swisstainable program is divided into 3 classifications to keep tourism providers on the up and up.
Level I - Committed
Aimed at businesses without certifications that have committed to sustainable business management. Cirkel Supply is categorised at the Swisstainable committed level. We have researched our environmental performance in detail via a business model lifecycle assessment (BM-LCA). The BM-LCA estimates that our rental model emits 76% less CO2 than linear sales and informed improvements to our sustainability strategies.
Level II - Engaged
To be classified as engaged, the business needs at least one external certification.
Level III - Leading
These champions of sustainable tourism have comprehensive certifications covering all areas of sustainability and are regularly audited by third parties.
