Swisstainable Classifications

Through the Swisstainable classification system, Switzerland Tourism encourages businesses to implement sustainable practices like waste management, energy efficiency, community love, and taking care of nature like a boss.
The Swisstainable Program is divided into 3 classifications, to keep tourism providers like Cirkel Supply on the up, and up.
Level I - Committed
Aimed at businesses without certifications that have committed to sustainable business management. At Cirkel, we have researched our environmental performance, but until this is verified by a third party (the goal!), we are classified as Swisstainable - Committed.
Level II - Engaged
To be classified as ‘engaged’, the business needs at least one external certification.
Level - Leading
These champions of sustainable tourism have comprehensive certifications covering all areas of sustainability that are regularly audited by third parties.
